Dear Expectant Parent(s),

In some ways it is hard to write a letter to you, since we haven’t met yet. But in other ways, we already know a lot about you. We know that you are incredibly brave and loving to be considering such a hard choice on behalf of your precious child.

Our names are Bryce and Esther. We have one beautiful angel daughter named Miren who, after many hospital stays and medical procedures, passed away in March 2025. We’ve spent far too many nights crying together, wondering how this world can be so unfair and broken at times. We don’t have all the answers. But there are a few things that we do know.

For one, we know that because of Jesus Christ, families can be together forever. One day, we’ll hold our beautiful little miracle again.  She always has a place with us, now and in eternity. We know that each of these little ones is in God’s care.

We also know that we want Miren to be a big sister. We’ve known it since day one. And it still holds true now. Which is why we are working to adopt again.

We want to welcome another child into our family, to give them a home full of love, and laughter, and learning. Our number one promise is that they will always be taken care of, will always know that they belong—today, tomorrow, and forever.

You are in the middle of making a very hard and heavy decision. We want to make sure to give you the space and the time you need to make whatever choice that you decide is best.
