Our Favorite Adventures Together
We love to travel together, including trips to New York, Florida, Nevada, and Idaho. We want to travel to Japan and Europe some day! We also go to lots of fun events near home and run a game store together.
Our Values

Our Angel Miren
Aug. 2024 - Mar. 2025
Our daughter Miren was born with many health challenges, including a hole in her heart. Her birth mother did a wonderful job of taking care of Miren's medical needs before her birth, and then we were able to continue working with doctors as Miren grew in the NICU, had a heart surgery at just 2-months-old, and then finally came home with us.

Miren had the most beautiful light about her. Everyone who met her instantly fell in love. She spent a perfect seven months on Earth with us before returning home to her Heavenly Father. Even though she's not physically with us now, we believe that families are forever and that Miren will continue to be our daughter in the next life and throughout eternity.

Miren has brought so much happiness into our lives. We love our precious angel with all our hearts. We can't wait for Miren to be a big sister. All her siblings will know that they have a guardian angel who loves them and is looking out for them in heaven.

2 cats, Patchi and Stormy. We sometimes have chickens too.
A Typical Day at Home
We start our day listening to fun music while we get ready for the day, and then pray together before heading off to work. In the evening we make dinner together and take care of chores. Then we relax by playing games with friends, reading a book, or watching a movie together.
Fun Nights as a Family
On fun nights out we're usually getting Japanese food, eating ice cream, visiting the mall, or going to plays (especially to see our nephews perform!). We also like to taking scenic drives to see spring blossoms/autumn leaves and hunting down our favorite food trucks at local festivals.
Our Community
Extended Family
We have lots of family nearby (literally 5-10 minutes away), as well as family spread throughout neighboring counties and states. Bryce's parents and siblings live the closest, so we see them weekly for Sunday family dinners. Esther's family lives further, but we make regular trips to visit as often as we can. We love being with our family and know that they will always be there for us, no matter what crazy turn life takes.
Church Community
Our church community, made of many wonderful people in our neighborhood and city, have proven time and time again that they are available and willing to help us in times of need. When we first brought our daughter Miren home, they were right there providing meals and adoring our little girl. When Miren was in the hospital and then later passed away, our church community was there again, helping with funeral arrangements, crying alongside us, and offer support in every way imaginable.
Friends & Neighbors
We love hosting friends and neighbors for holidays and game nights, usually smaller parties so that we can spend time one-on-one with people. We also go to writing groups, hikes, and other fun get-togethers.
Our Culture
We love our culture, which focuses on building strong families and taking care of those in need. We're also nerds and love things like Star Wars, Pokemon, Dungeons & Dragons, classical music, Mark Rober videos, and learning new languages.

A lot of people in our community have lived across the country and abroad while serving missions for The Church of Jesus Christ, which means they bring back a love for other cultures, their languages, and their amazing food!
